Will Ho, MS Amlin’s Asia head of reinsurance, is set to take on the role of chief executive of MS Amlin Asia Pacific.
Ho (pictured) is taking over the responsibilities from Simon Clarke, who is stepping down after 10 years with the firm.
Following previous broking and underwriting roles, Will Ho joined MS Amlin in 2012 and worked originally in London. Since 2014 he has headed up the firm’s Asia reinsurance business which is based in Singapore.
Tom Clementi, chief executive MS Amlin Underwriting, commented: “Since joining MS Amlin, [Ho] has been an integral part of the reinsurance senior leadership team, originally in London and more recently in Singapore. Will has a wealth of experience that will be invaluable to the business going forwards.”
Clementi added: “Simon Clarke has been at MS Amlin for the last 10 years and has led our business in Asia over that period with distinction. I would like to thank [Clarke] personally for his energy and dedication to the business and wish him the very best for the future.”
