Swiss Re appoints corporate solutions CEO for Australia, NZJune 8 2017 by InsuranceAsia News Staff
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has appointed Melanie Slack to the role of chief executive for Australia and New Zealand.
She will be responsible for managing the strategy, development and performance of the company’s presence in the Australian and New Zealand commercial insurance markets.
Slack is relocating to Sydney from Hong Kong, where she headed life and health products for Swiss Re Asia. She joined Swiss Re in 2002 and has worked in a range of senior management positions in Asia, Europe and the US.
“In her new role, [Slack] will execute on Corporate Solutions’ local strategy, working with brokers to provide innovative insurance programmes for mid-sized corporate clients and large multinational corporations,” said Fred Kleiterp, CEO Asia Pacific.
