Peak Re has hired Satoshi Ichihara as chief representative of Peak Re in Japan, as the Hong Kong-based reinsurer seeks to grow its business in Japan.
Prior to joining Peak Re, Ichihara was chief representative of Catlin in Japan and previously worked at MSI.
“It is a great pleasure to announce the appointment of … Ichihara as chief representative of Peak Re in Japan,” said Franz Josef Hahn, chief executive of Peak Re. “[He] brings extensive experience to the position. He will help us to further broaden and deepen our relationships with clients in Japan. We will continue to offer strong support and service to the Japan market and grow with our partners into the future.”
