Marsh prepares specialty executive team for JLT dealNovember 14 2018 by InsuranceAsia News Staff
Following the expected completion of Marsh’s acquisition of JLT next year, Lucy Clarke, chief executive of JLT Specialty (pictured), will become president of a combined Marsh-JLT Specialty division reporting to John Doyle, chief executive of Marsh.
Clarke will be based in London and become responsible for Marsh-JLT Specialty’s aerospace, construction, credit, energy, credit, financial, M&A, marine, private equity and professional business worldwide; she will also become a member of the executive committee.
Dominic Burke, chief executive of JLT Group, will become chairman of Marsh-JLT Specialty in addition to his roles as vice chairman of Marsh & McLennan and a member of the Marsh & McLennan executive committee. He will continue to be located in London.
Mark Drummond Brady, deputy group chief executive of JLT Group, will become vice chairman of Marsh, reporting to Doyle from London. Drummond Brady will also become a member of the Marsh executive committee.
Dean Klisura will remain president, Marsh global placement in New York reporting to Doyle.
