Manulife appoints Lee Sang-hui as CEO for MalaysiaNovember 7 2018 by InsuranceAsia News Staff
Lee Sang-hui has been given the role of group chief executive for Manulife in Malaysia.
Lee will be responsible for the company’s operations across Malaysia, including life insurance, health insurance, wealth management and the pension business.
Lee has more than 25 years of experience in the life insurance and asset management markets. His career began at American Life Insurance in Japan before working for AIA across distribution, finance, investments and marketing.
Lee replaced Mark O’Dell on November 1 who has retired. O’Dell joined Manulife in October 2008 as chief executive of Manulife Taiwan and went on to oversee its operations in Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore.
