Lei Yu appointed North Asia CEO for QBESeptember 18 2018 by InsuranceAsia News Staff
InsuranceAsia News understands Lei Yu (pictured) is leaving her position as chief executive of Marsh’s Hong Kong business to become North Asia chief executive and head of Asia Pacific distribution at QBE.
Yu will start her new role in the next few months and will report to QBE’s Asia Pacific chief executive Jason Brown. Yu, who joined Marsh in 2015, will be based at QBE’s Hong Kong office in Quarry Bay.
Jason Hammond, interim QBE Hong Kong CEO, will return to Australia in due course where he is general manager for broker distribution.
Yu’s appointment is subject to regulatory approval. InsuranceAsia News has reached out to Marsh and QBE for comment.
