Startup GoBear appoints Adrian Chng as CEOJuly 13 2018 by InsuranceAsia News Staff
Adrian Chng has been named new CEO of Singapore-based insurance startup GoBear. Chng, who will assume the role on 16 July, succeeds Andre Hesselink, GoBear’s CEO since 2015.
Hessenlink will move back to the Netherlands and continue to be involved as a special adviser to GoBear and its shareholders, Aegon and Walvis.
Chng’s appointment as the new CEO of GoBear comes as the Singapore-based company announced plans to launch new products and to continue its expansion across Asia, starting with Indonesia.
Chng was most recently chairman and CEO of financial technology firm Fintonia. He also headed Asian jobs portal JobsDB.com.
