HDI Global bolsters claims capabilitiesMay 29 2019 by InsuranceAsia News Staff
HDI Global has recruited Natalie Storer as a claims manager.
Storer previously worked at QBE’s Lloyd’s syndicate 386 in Sydney where she worked closely with HDI Global’s regional claims manager David Lloyd; she will start the new role in the middle of July from her new firm’s Sydney office.
Stefan Feldmann, regional head and managing director, Asean and Australasia, HDI Global said: “Recruiting [Storer] shows our commitment to being able to service a wide variety of claims particularly those of significant complexity.”
“I’m delighted with the progress we’ve made by leading more risks across different portfolios and that has to be supported in our claims capabilities.”
David Lloyd, regional claims manager Australasia and Asean, HDI Global said: “I recognised that we needed to strengthen our ability to manage complex claims where HDI was the lead and to ensure we fulfilled our obligations to the insured and the market.”
“[Storer] will manage many of our large and/or complex claims across portfolios and also brings additional technical and operational competencies that I know well from our time at QBE 386.”
