Guy Carpenter has appointed Bengt Johnsen as head of South-East Asia and Korea.
He will succeed Richard Jones, who was promoted to chairman of the Asia Pacific region in August 2017, and will be based in Singapore, reporting to Tony Gallagher, chief executive for Asia Pacific.
Johnsen will take up the position on January 18, 2019 and will be responsible for further developing Guy Carpenter’s local capabilities.
“[Bengt] brings decades of experience building highly successful client-relationships, extensive industry expertise and impressive local market knowledge to Guy Carpenter,” said Gallagher.
