In a bid to expand its footprint in Asia, Financial Risk Solutions (FRS), an Ireland-based unit-linked investment administration and compliance oversight software provider, has opened an office in Hong Kong.
The new office serves as its second in Asia after establishing a presence in Kuala Lumpur. According to FRS, the firm wants to take advantage of the new location to keep pace with growth in the region’s life insurance industry.
FRS head of Asia Matthew Baldwin said the opening aims to extend the services FRS renders to its clients within the thriving life insurance market in Asia.
Baldwin said the firm’s Robotic Process Automation (RPA) fund administration software has been well received by regional life insurers.
FRS says its optimism about growth prospects in the region are fuelled by the large population in Asian markets where pension businesses are popular.
