AXA Hong Kong appoints new CEOJune 28 2017 by InsuranceAsia News Staff
Etienne Bouas-Laurent has been appointed chief executive officer for AXA Hong Kong, succeeding Stuart Harrison, who retires from the Hong Kong position effective August 31.
AXA will, however, continue to tap his expertise in the industry as he will become director and senior adviser to the insurer’s Hong Kong unit.
In his eight years as CEO, Harrison built a strong agency channel with manpower increasing over 70%.
In his new role, Bouas-Laurent will continue to report to Jean-Louis Laurent Josi, regional CEO of AXA Asia.
Bouas-Laurent is currently working on broadening the life and health business in the region.
