AXA appoints new CEO for Singapore unitAugust 16 2017 by InsuranceAsia News Staff
Jean Drouffe takes over the reins from Doina Palici-Chebab, who has been promoted to the position of interim regional CEO of AXA Asia.
In his new capacity, Drouffe will report to Chebab.
Drouffe has been with AXA for 17 years and used to be the regional CEO for the general insurance businesses of AXA Asia based in Hong Kong.
Before that, he served as director general for the western region at AXA France for over two years, and group finance director at AXA United Kingdom for more than three years.
He was also the chief financial officer at AXA UK for more than two years and joined AXA originally in 2000.
He was instrumental in the launch of AXA Group risk management practices through several roles with the economic capital project.
