Aviva appoints CEO for China, Indonesia and VietnamApril 3 2017 by InsuranceAsia News Staff
Aviva Asia has appointed Randy Lianggara as regional chief executive for China, Indonesia and Vietnam.
In this newly created role, Lianggara will continue to report to Chris Wei, executive chairman of Aviva Asia and global chairman of Aviva Digital, and will also oversee the operation of the Asia regional office.
With their low insurance penetration, growing economies, expanding middle class and high-net-worth individuals, Aviva says these markets present significant opportunities for it to grow sustainably.
Lianggara joined Aviva as the regional executive for Indonesia and Vietnam in June 2016. Prior to joining Aviva, he was the country CEO for life insurance, general insurance and asset management for AXA Indonesia.
The appointment is effective 1 April 2017.
