AIA has inked an exclusive long-term strategic bancassurance partnership with Sri Lanka’s DFCC Bank.
Under the agreement, AIA Insurance Lanka will offer a range of savings and protection products and services to DFCC’s customers.
Pankaj Banerjee, CEO of AIA Sri Lanka, said the bancassurance deal reiterates the insurer’s focus on providing multiple access points to Sri Lankan customers.
For his part, DFCC CEO Arjun Fernando said the strategic partnership will result in increased value for the bank’s customers and will reflect DFCC’s commitment towards them.
Sajith Silva, DFCC Bank’s assistant vice president for bancassurance, said the bancassurance deal strongly positions the bank to deliver financial solutions with protection under one roof.
