AIA Malaysia has appointed three new senior executives to its executive committee and board of directors.
Andrew Loh takes up the role of chief financial officer; Heng Zee Wang becomes chief marketing officer replacing Eric Chang, who becomes the chief executive officer designate for AIA General, a new Malaysian subsidiary that is awaiting a regulatory licence on July 1, 2018 from Bank Negara Malaysia before it can start operations.
AIA chief executive Anusha Thavarajah has welcomed the three appointments, saying that the new appointees have each demonstrated significant accomplishments in their previous roles in AIA that have been vital in the development of the company.
