Jane Ravi is set to join HDI Global as a senior property underwriter, power and energy for Australasia. Ravi will be based in Sydney and report to Dale Graf, HDI’s property underwriting manager for Australasia.
She will join the firm on December 10 from Axa XL.
Graf commented: “We are extremely pleased to have [Ravi] on board. She brings a wealth of underwriting experience to the role and has great relationships with brokers and insureds alike. We’re confident that [Ravi] will strengthen our power and energy proposition even further.”
Jeremy Smith will also join HDI as an underwriter on November 26 to be based in Melbourne. Smith, who is joining from Chubb, will report to Daryl La Fontaine, HDI’s southern region property underwriting manager.
Graf added: “I’m equally excited to have [Smith] join the team in Melbourne. Over the past four years, [La Fontaine] has built a strong following and portfolio in the southern region.”
