Simeon Tan

Co-Founder and CTO, Protos Labs

Simeon is an entrepreneur, cybersecurity specialist and the co-founder of Protos Labs – a Singapore-based insurtech startup that empowers insurers and enterprises to quantify cyber risks confidently. He leads Protos Lab’s data science and engineering activities, focusing on building advanced cyber risk models using industry-leading AI and statistical techniques.​

Prior to founding Protos Labs, Simeon led the operational technology cybersecurity practice at Booz Allen Hamilton and threat intelligence capability in OT-ISAC. He has advised multiple organizations across the financial services, government, energy, transportation, healthcare and telecommunication sectors on cyber defense and operations. He is certified AWS Solutions Architect, Offensive Security Certified Professional, GIAC Response and Industrial Defence and Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional.​
