Sam Cheung

Regional Lead, Capital Markets, CDP

Sam Cheung is the Regional Lead of the Capital Markets team at CDP, a leading international environmental non-profit that plays a key role in defining the global disclosure system for investors, companies, and subnational governments. He spearheads the regional growth of disclosure programme in the financial services sector and contributes to capacity building initiatives aimed at accelerating the net-zero transition. He also manages donor-funded projects that focus on climate resiliency and forest management in Asia, and establishes strategic partnerships with financial institutions, regulators, and NGOs to drive sustainability efforts.

Before joining CDP, Sam worked at the Consulate of Argentina and the International Chamber of Commerce. He has also lived and worked in Hong Kong, France, and South Africa. Sam holds a Master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Hong Kong.
