Jaijit Kumar

Head of Asia Insurance Solutions, Invesco

Jaijit Kumar is Head of Asia Insurance Solutions, responsible for leading Invesco’s Insurance Solutions business in Asia Pacific. Based out of Hong Kong, he is primarily focused on the broader institutional channel and platforms to deliver solutions applicable to insurance clients.

Jaijit has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the insurance and financial services industry, having worked in the US, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He joined Invesco in 2019 from Aviva, where he was the Chief Investment Officer for Asia, overseeing investment activities of the company’s insurance entities across the region. Prior to that, he was the Chief Investment Officer at AXA China Region in Hong Kong, responsible for managing the company’s general and separate accounts. He has also worked at New York Life International.

Jaijit holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree from Delhi University, and a Master of Business administration from the University of Rochester, New York. He is Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
