Alexander Liu

Vice president, Cyber & Financial Lines APAC, MSIG

Alexander has over 20 years of global experience in the (re)insurance industry. He specialises in underwriting, client and portfolio management, and business development. His expertise includes both conventional and alternative risk transfer solutions, such as parametric programs. Having held international positions in the US, Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore, Alexander has a broad, global perspective. Currently, as Vice President of Cyber and Financial Lines at MSIG Asia, his responsibilities include underwriting management and governance of these lines of business across the Asia Pacific region. He is also involved with managing key relationships with technology partners, alternative distribution models (including MGAs), claims matters, and reinsurance procurement.

Alexander holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney and a Master of International Business Management from the University of New South Wales, both in Australia.
